SOLU is a regenerative farm-to-table project in Alaró, Mallorca, created for people who care about where food comes from and how it is grown. Set in a valley at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, SOLU combines land stewardship, a biointensive vegetable garden, and community-focused gatherings around seasonal cooking, natural wine, and shared time outdoors.
The farm spans around 3 hectares and is being regenerated through practices that prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and long-term resilience. At the heart of the project is a 4,000 sqm vegetable garden, where the team grows a mix of local, heirloom, and unusual varieties chosen for flavor and vitality. The wider landscape includes agroforestry plantings (a growing food-forest vision), citrus, and on-site beehives that produce small-batch honey shaped by the seasons.
What you can do at SOLU
- Join public garden events that express the farm through different formats across the year: daytime Farm Bistro sessions, evening Garden Experiences, sundowner picnics, seasonal cooking classes, outdoor cinema nights, and occasional pop-ups.
- Book the Harvest Bag for a weekly selection of farm produce. The bag typically includes 6–8 crops of seasonal vegetables, fruits, and herbs, picked fresh and designed for cooking at home. Pick-up is on Thursdays (orders close Wednesday night; quantities are limited).
- Plan a private gathering or catering. SOLU offers private events and can bring the experience beyond the finca, supporting the concept, flow, food, and overall atmosphere at your chosen location.
SOLU also welcomes visitors during its Open Farm Day every Thursday (10:00–16:00), with a farm stand offering products such as wine and honey. For some events (such as Farm Bistro), booking is required, and a reservation fee may apply.
