Ecovida Project Mallorca Group offers a seasonal calendar of hands-on events that blend permaculture practice, ecological education, and community connection in the heart of the island. The activities are anchored around the Ermita de Sant Honorat in Randa, an iconic and quiet setting that supports learning, reflection, and practical work in nature.
What you can join
- Open Days (Puertas Abiertas): short visits designed to discover the project, meet the community, and learn the basics of what Ecovida is building at Sant Honorat. The last listed date is 29 March 2026 (17:00–18:30) in Randa, with limited places and a €10 prepayment requested.
- Eco-gardening “on tour” workshops: full-day practical days focused on building living soil and resilient gardens. A listed date is 27 March 2026 (09:30–17:00) in the Camí Des Palmer area.
- Themed community workshops: immersive day experiences such as “Community as an ecosystem”, guided through permaculture principles and intuitive herbalism. A listed past date is 14 February 2026 (09:00–17:00) at Sant Honorat, priced at €80 and including a light lunch.
Volunteer days (October to April)
From October to April, Ecovida hosts regular volunteer days at Sant Honorat focused on vegetable garden care, maintenance, and gardening works while practicing permaculture. Volunteers are invited on Tuesdays and Fridays (10:00–17:00), with lunch included. These days are ideal if you want consistency, community, and real-world skills rather than a one-off class.
Who it is for
This is a strong fit for conscious residents and visitors who want to learn by doing, contribute to an ecology-driven initiative, and spend meaningful time outdoors. Expect bilingual communication (Spanish and English are both used across event pages) and an emphasis on punctuality and limited-capacity groups.
