Essential Oils Workshop in Manacor
A practical introduction to aromatic formulation and the mindful use of essential oils.
On Saturday, July 4th, we will meet at Biopompas Manacor to explore the world of essential oils through both a sensory and scientific approach, combining the fundamentals of chemistry, aromatherapy, and fragrance composition.
During this two-hour workshop, you will discover a variety of certified essential oils, learn to identify their main aromatic families and fragrance notes, and understand how to combine them in a balanced and safe way.
Based on this exploration, you will create two personalized roll-on blends, tailored to your scent preferences and the purpose for which you wish to use them.
No previous experience is required. The workshop is designed for anyone who would like to learn, experiment, and create in a small group with personal guidance throughout the entire process.
What we will cover
We will begin with an introduction to essential oils:
- How essential oils are obtained
- What determines their quality
- Why correct concentrations and dilutions are essential for safe use
Next, we will enjoy a guided olfactory exploration to recognize different fragrance families and understand the role of top, heart, and base notes in a balanced aromatic composition.
Finally, each participant will design and prepare two unique blends, using certified essential oils diluted in a sweet almond oil base.
